A first for us ... taking a teen out for some driving practice. Insurance for learner drivers was totally unaffordable when No.1 & No.2 Sons were at home, but we've discovered we can buy it monthly for Child No.3 (although the excess, if she does do some damage, is a massive £250).
I have a few more grey hairs after the first session ... hopefully we'll both relax after another trip or two.
Joining in with Helena's ZIZO ... pop over to see what others are snapping this week ...
You're very brave!!
ReplyDeletewell done to both of you
ReplyDeleteVery brave indeed - good luck :)
ReplyDeleteVery brave Jemma. I only tried once and I was so scared that I left it to the instructor with duel control after that. Glad to say my son passed first time and is a great driver. Hope the same for your learner.
ReplyDeleteWhat a wonderful ZIZO! (And good luck to your learner!)
ReplyDeleteGood luck to you and your learner. I plan to learn later this year - once we've moved house, etc. etc. ;)
ReplyDeleteBe proud, be very proud - I think taking TTO out on lessons is one of the parenting things I'm most proud of actually doing. Best of luck with the rest of the lessons :)
ReplyDeleteOh I remember both the fright and utter delight of driving with both my children at first. Nowadays its just my hubby's driving that makes me nervous.
