Well we certainly did have a lovely time.
On our day trip.
To Bangor.
Despite the lack of sunshine.
And the not-open-as-the-season-hasn't-started-yet tea-room at the end of the pier.
Good job we had 20p for the telescope.
Joining in with Helena's ZIZO ... pop over to check whether others had better weather this week.
humming along, great capture of British spring by the sea
ReplyDeleteI like the fact that you have made the "zoom in" the close up of the telescope, which itself always gives us the longer view. Cool thinking
ReplyDeleteI didn't even know there was a pier in Bangor!!! Did you know that song wasn't actually talking about Bangor North Wales - it was Ireland's Bangor!! Great photos!
ReplyDeleteMakes me miss the UK. I much prefer the seaside out of season!
ReplyDeleteLooks chilly!
ReplyDeleteNope Lesley it was Bangor Wales according to BBC Radio 4 :-)
ReplyDeletedon´t know this place but love the little building. :)
ReplyDeleteOhhh brings back memories of solitude stomping along the out-of-season beach. Hope you got a nice cup of tea somewhere!
ReplyDeleteDespite the gray skies, it's a beautiful place!
ReplyDeleteI've never been to Bangor but the song immediately jumps into my head! Looks like you had a great time, despite the weather.
ReplyDeleteGreat out of season look at the pier. Love that building!
