Helena's meme to zoom in and out with photography continues on; it's nearly the end of week 13 and I almost came a cropper as there's not a lot of photography happening. However, today I had a moment free in the garden which is looking dull and boring: too much moss, too many weeds, too many fallen leaves, not enough colour (apart from green) ...
... when I spotted that there is some beauty out there - you just have to get up close.

yes I've been feeling a bit like I have to look close for some interest and colour on my normal walk and in the back garden at the moment
A beauty it is! Hoping our last foot of snow will melt soon and buds will begin appearing here as well.
That is lovely: well worth a close up. We have so much moss here in our lawn, the birds are stripping I for their nests. saves us having to work out how to get rid, I guess!
not boring at all!! Your zoom in flower is gorgeous!
Ahhh, what a find! Lovely and delicate - very spring-like and pretty. Gardens are never really boring (I suppose they could be if they were just paving stones, but if there are any plants...)
Worth the effort, Jemma!
I'm always happy to see flowers :)
I am just soooo happy to be seeing green here!
It's a joy when you see a gem like this
Your garden is sounding a bit like mine...but that shot is gorgeous.
You are lucky to have the green. Just starting here... still a lot of brown. LOVE the zoomed in shot. Nature is messy and beautiful all in the same breath.
Very Pretty!!
Wonderful garden zizo! Oh I can't wait till all the snow is gone from our gardens and it begins to dry up out there so I can walk around.
