Counterfeiter's Crime Scene

Welcome to the Counterfeit Kit Challenge Blog's NSD Scene Of The Crime hop around the Master Forgers' crafty spaces.  It started here with Sherrie and you should have reached me from Angela.

So here it is: my "official" scrapping space - one end of our family room in all its glory.  I have a desk, a chair and some storage space along with a daylight lamp for evening crafting.  I wonder just how many scrappers use IKEA Expedit furniture?!?!?

Jimjams - Scrapping Space

I say "official" because I often spread to the dining table as there's more space and I'm nearer to Hubby and we can chat while I scrap.  The rolling tool box in the foreground is my crop box and a lot of my supplies live in there permanently so that I can grab and go!  As you can see I did NOT tidy up before taking the photo ... too busy scrapping this page

Now it's time to take a look at Jennifer's place.  Hopefully a little more organised than me (especially as she hosted an Organisation Weekend not so long ago)!

Not organised maybe but real life! Love it. And yes, I bet Ikea never realised just how many scrappers around the world would thank them for making the perfect scrap storage! And you have the desk with it too which is ideal. I like the look of what you have - looks inspiring and good to have everything close to hand.

Great space, right by your hubby! And you are so right about Ikea. I see so many people use the Expedit in their spaces.

lovely space, and it's nice to spend time with the family at the same time as scrapbooking when possible.

Your space looks great. I am another one who has ikea furniture. I wonder if when they were designing the range they would realise how many crafters would buy it? X

Your space looks great, I love how you have a layout displayed at the top. And yes, we do love expedit! Now, when are they going to realise the big scrappers market and make boxes that are shallow but fit the shelves?!! x

What a great idea for a blog hop! Lovely to see your space and it is full of interesting bits and bobs. What did scrappers do before Ikea? I recognise that pantechnicon on wheels!

Love, love this space! And I liked how you left it in "work mode" for us to see! All I can say is that even your "work mode" looks a lot cleaner than mine! I admire an artist who can whip out some beautiful work while simultaneously NOT getting buried beneath her own stash! It's a nice blend of organization and artistic freedom. Kudos!

I agree this is a fun idea for a blog hop - I'll have to go and be nosy. Looking at moving so thinking of where to fit my stash in the next house. Do like being able to chat to DH whilst scrapping tho'.

What a great space! I think there are a lot of scrappers with Expedit furniture. However, no matter what furniture is in my scrap room, I'm just like you....spreading out to the dining room table!!!
