A Germane Kit to Copy!

Kit reveal time again ... with the Counterfeit Kit Challenge Blog's hop around the Master Forgers' blogs.  We started with our Master Forger Karen and I'm a hop away from Susanne.

This month it was Lisa's turn to choose a kit and, appropriately enought, the kit-to-copy came from Germany: Papier Werkstadt's March Kit.

Papier Werkstatt's March Kit - Kit-to-copy

A lovely muted kit, full of neutrals plus hints of pastels.  I started leafing through my papers to find kraft/white patterns, but spotted a trio of Basic Grey's Scarlett's Letter that I'd been saving ... and decided that they could work as a starting point.  I added a couple more modern neutrals from Crate Paper's The Pier pad and then added some hints of pale blue ... no suprise that pale pink didn't feature!  Well actually, it is there on a pattern reverse that will NOT be being used!

August Counterfeit Kit - Jimjams

Daisy Bucket Star KissedStardust (fawn reverse)
My Little Shoebox In Bloom Botanical (floral reverse - the pink one!)

Next on the hop we are welcoming the lovely Julene back from her holidays. If you get lost along the hop - the full list is on the CKCB here.  Have fun!

The perfect kit for you Jemma and your chosen forgeries are perfect too.
I like the naturals with the blues but let's see if I can get you to use that hidden pink on Saturday!

Your choice to use the blues instead of the pinks led to a great selection of products-lovely kit, and the rosettes that you made are the perfect finishing touch!

Oh your kit has a touch of elegance not found in the original - I think you've chosen wonderfully. Enjoy.

Kraft and turquoise go so well together and this kit is no exception.
Very pretty items all round.

Yes! You've made this kit your own as I knew you would. The move from pale pink and green to pale blue is perfect and your kit is fantastic. I wonder if Lesley can coax you to use a hint of pink though! Super mix of products and a kit that looks like it will produce some wonderful layouts

The kraft and pastel blue color combination is delightful! The black pieces make a nice accent too. Your kit is very serene and calming - just lovely!

Love the blue you brought into the kit really a nice touch with the black tones. Sweet paper choices too. Lots of fun embellishments too :)

I think your blues sub in nicely for the cool greys in the inspiration. Goes without saying that you would pass on the pink (wink-wink) but I think there is a hint of it in the bold paper on the right. You've captured the serene feel well. Are you taking on the mini-book?

A unique color combination with plenty of neutrals and krafts that nods to the inspo. I like how your letters tie in to the turquoise. Nicely done!
