Bad, Bad Blogger!!!

Well who'd have thought that I, originally a blog-o-phobe, would actually miss being able to blog?  Or be cheesed off that some comments (from me and for me) had been lost?  But I did and I am.  So if you feel I've been neglecting your blog I probably haven't - I'm sure I was there, but Blogger lost the record of my visit - honest!!

This evening I'm running a small challenge for some fellow scrappers on UKS called "Ready, Steady, SCRAP!" - based on the cookery show where chefs were given a random set of ingredients and had to create a meal from it.  I've drawn one colour card, one technique card and two supplies cards for each participant, including myself.  They have to create a page based on the 4 cards, but are allowed to add plenty of other stash, just as long as each ingredient is reasonably represented.  Here's what I drew for myself:

No adhesive ... quite hard to do ... but not impossible.  This page from a few years back was my showcase for all things lacking in glue.  Staples, sewing, brads, eyelets, gromlets, slits in the paper, paper clips ... even my Dymo tape was just wrapped around the backing card!

Fancy getting creative and having a go with the ingredients I drew for myself?
  • Yellow,
  • No Adhesive,
  • Punches & Eyelets
Leave me a link and I'll come and look ... ready, steady, SCRAP!

It's really odd that you would mention your comments getting lost because I had someone comment on a post yesterday to which I responded in a comment and when I went back today they were both gone. Vanished into the cyber hole!

That sounds fun! Not sure I'll have the chance to play along, I may well be too busy retyping lost posts, ack.... But if I get time to play, I'll be sure to let you know :)

That is such a good idea - and if your other LO is anything to go by you will produce another stunner :0)

Hi there, thank you for re-commenting lol I did see your originals in my email, I think I lost 6 or 7 comments in total AND my last post at one time. Typical too as it was the first time I'd posted a poll on my blog! Re the prom, don't they suddenly seem to look so much older. My dd is still only 15 as she's a July baby.

Glad the Ikea Goddess link was useful :-)

My feelings about blogging and all the problems this week! Wow, a layout with no adhesive - have to get my stapler out for that one.

Mmm, no adhesive? I like the challenge of that one..

The worrying thing about blogger disappearing is how much extra time it freed up for me yesterday. Um, maybe I need to address my blog addiction..

Yes...I was really irritated with Blogger too. It was only slightly redemed with the post I thought I'd lost was re-posted, but I was sad to lose all the lovely comments.

Your layout is fun, and the challenge sounded interesting! ;o)

Blogger was driving me mad too - quite unsettling I thought,as it made me realise that even that could go wrong! Very annoying that lots of my comments got lost too. Let's hope it's going to be ok from now on.

Blogger bugged lots of people with that - especially as these days I get blocks of time and one of them was Tuesday afternoon! :(

Fun no adhesive page, I remember doing a challenge with that over on UKS years ago.
