Lean Mean Mini Books - the instructions

A couple of people have asked me for the instructions to my mini-book, made from one sheet of card and one sheet of double-sided patterned paper ... my pleasure to oblige:
The instructions can be viewed, printed or downloaded from here.

There's a slide show with some internal pages visible here.

Do please leave me a comment with a link if you have a go at it - I'm amazed at how different the book looks with different papers, photos and embellishments.

Thanks for sharing the instructions - my original copy from the exhall crop are getting a bit dogeared - I've used them so much! You may recall that on the day I made a blue version and used photo's of my toddler in the snow. Everyone who sees it admires it! I then made one of the photo's of Zak's 2nd birthday in July - and I made 6 for end of year teachers presents - only one of my 3 sons are at school, but I couldn't miss out the TA's etc - oh and the headteacher left, so she got one too. So thanks ever so much, ive got loads of ideas for future ones too.

Hi Jemma - I found these instructions from your blog way back in September -made a book and then never posted it to my blog!!!! Well I came across the instructions again today and decided to post my finished project to my blog and now I am leaving the link for you!! http://leaveapapertrail.blogspot.com/2010/12/life-is-good.html
I love the book - it turned out so well and if I had remembered these a couple weeks ago I would have made one or two for some friends for Christmas! Oh well - I think it will work well for birthdays too!!!!

Thanks for the link to the instructions- I printed out a PDF version ages ago and had it lurking in my crop bag for a time when I needed inspiration. My minibook is here http://theteacherspett.blogspot.com/2011/07/lean-mean-mini-book.html

Thanks again for leaving a comment on my blog.

I'm just visiting some of your older posts Jemma and love this book with the instructions. Thank you for sharing. I'll certainly have a go at this sometime soon as I love mini books. It's amazing that over 300 page views have resulted in such a low response. It is always nice to receive comments, but even more so when you have gone to so much effort. I'll certainly leave a link if I make mine and post on my blog.
