So it was pretty appropriate (but entirely coincidental) that the stamp I chose to feature in response to November's first challenge at the Counterfeit Kit Challenge Blog was a dotty one - from a Personal Impressions set: "Grunged". I had fun stamping the 5x5 dotted square on the background cardstock and some of the plain paper on my page:
This layout was made during the recent UKScrappers' Cybercrop in a class that encouraged us to use lots of layering and a really long title! Supplies are from my November Counterfeit Kit with the addition of some extra alpha stickers for the adapted song title, the sequin waste stencil I inked through, the dotty stamp and the bar-code stamp (also from the Grunged set).
When I showed the page to Hubby he said "Though we're on the monorail!" and he's right ... but it was the monorail at Orlando airport!
I enjoyed the stamping, especially to add interest to a plain-ish paper - I'm looking forward to seeing what other Counterfeiters do with theirs as my stamps are rather neglected and need more use!

LOVE how you used the stamp to create the background! And I know how your stamps feel....the same way mine must feel every time I pass their drawer and don't pull them out! This has been a great challenge to get stamping!
That is a Superb page love the way you have stamped or is that sequin waste the arrow and tail in two different places.
(hope that works)
well it did but they don't look very bold ;D
I too like the dottiness of the page, subtle but strong enough to bring the eye.
I like making patterned papers - just don't tend to often. Hmm, thanks for the inspiration.
I love that background stamp you've used....I can see many uses for it.
I really love spots so I REALLY love this page! so much fun to see all the corners you have spotted and the diagonal arrows are the perfect non spot feature!
I was forcing myself to stamp on a few Christmas cards last night - it's hard not to believe I'm going to spoil it and have to start again every time. Does that feeling ever go away??
I like that stamped background very much
TTFN? (From memory so possibly not right!)
Love the layout, the stamping does add that extra bit of depth and interest :) I once bought a dotty stamp but it turned out to be a solid background with the dots left unstamped, if that makes sense? Not what I was expecting, and I've found it difficult to use!
Great looking layout! Love the dottyness
nicey nice
Oooo, I love that spotted stamping, Jemma - so effective! The slightly grunge look is so very well done ... How clever of you to make it in the shape of the arrow head - one of those little things that marks you out as a scrapper with an eye for design :).
Super stamping on this stupendous layout!
I love your dottiness! I use the waste from my 3D foam dots for my stencil when I spray. And I love all of those layers too!
Great colors.

You are dotty, in the very best way. Well scrapped!
